Nestor Capote counsels clients primarily in serious
criminal matters, litigating regularly in state District
and Superior courts. As a former Assistant District
Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, he has an
insider’s understanding of how the criminal justice
system works and vast courtroom experience.
In recent experience, and over more than 15 years as
an attorney, Mr. Capote has represented clients charged
with serious felonies, drug possession and trafficking,
as well as murder-related cases, in addition to a wide
variety of other criminal offenses.
Mr. Capote graduated from Pace Law School. Previously,
he received a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a
Bachelor’s in International Relations, both from the
University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He is licensed
to practice in North Carolina as well as the Middle and
Eastern Federal District courts.
